New Mexico Foundation (NMF) is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
NMF is governed by a volunteer board of directors who, together with NMF staff, serve as stewards for valuable community resources statewide. They are committed to good governance practices, transparency and accountability to the many communities, nonprofit organizations and donors that NMF serves.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, NMF files a Form 990 with the IRS annually that is open to public inspection. NMF’s financial statements are audited annually by an independent public accounting firm.
Investment Policy
The NMF Investment Committee oversees and manage the investment program, makes recommendations to the Board regarding investment policy and strategy, and monitors investment partners.
